A few months back I had a crane run down on my buzz bait but thank god I use suffix braid, I was able to rip it out before the bird get to high in the air. It would be the first automatic kite!!

Few Snapping Turtles, too. Me and my friends usually hook them when we see them around the fishing spot, becuase they tend to attack the fish we hook. It might sound ignorant but in the end, the Turtles are alive, and the fish are as well. We hook them with heavy gear, reel them in, lift them out of the water and carry them farther away to release them. You haven't seen blind fury until you've pissed off a 40lb hissing Snapping Turtle.
try dealing with an angry stingray at the beach with waves pushing it back at you when you try to put it into the water
I have caught Stingrays from inflatable boats

Caught a seagull once on Virginia Key. It went after a live Jumbo Shrimp I was free lining on the surface.
Also, my buddy's lure got caught on some braided line which led to a lure with a bowfin on, the sucky part is we had to pull in the lines with our hands and bowfins arent light fighters, sliced me up man!
