The one and only time I went fishing when I was like 13... Went to a pond by my house and ended up catching a huge snapping turtle... I'm talkin like the size of a manhole cover... Had to have two people I didn't even know assist me in getting my pole back lol There was about a 45 minute struggle with the turtle and us

but before they died my grandad and dad were fishing and my grandad cast out and caught the back of my dads calf muscle.....nasty scar

I caught a fishing rod once jigging for stripers it was pretty sweet

my grandpa was telling me about how some guy was surf fishing and he caught a pole and he decided to reel it in and there was a 60 pound striper on the pole. so the guy ended up with a nice pole and a nice fish

I caught a horseshoe crab once, it was 24 inches long including the telson.
