On the fishy mistake. Bought snake head with "tumors" only to realize that they were fish lice.. And I had to reset my whole 6ft tank and start over

Spent $40 on some Congo tetras that I assumed would be fast enough to avoid being eaten by my bichir since the tank was heavily planted. I watched the bichir pick them off as soon as I put them in. I got an in tank refugium and every morning I woke up to less of them.

Never adding a $.25 check valve to my little air hose in my 180 gallon aquarium……came home to half the water gone and flooding through the ceiling of my finished basement……that little line can sure siphon out the water.

trying to keep my 13" oscar in a 40g hospital tank over night with just a plastic lid. She broke the lid and was in the middle of the floor stiff dry and dead when I got up. THAT, will not happen again.
