What was your first fish?

I paid $1.20 for 10 feeder goldfish for a 20 gallon tank.

One actually lived about 8 years and grew to almost 6 inches.

first fish were carnival-won goldfish.

first fish i bought myself were some zebra danios. the nice man at the fish store said they would make my tank safe for real fish.

i remember my first tank.
the fish were all my first fish.
cant say which was the "first" though.
3 swordtails.
3 platies
6 neon tetras.
4 zebra danios.
and one BN pleco.

Don't remember what they were called but I think I had some of those clear tetras they inject with neon colours. I haven't seen them in fish stores recently so they were probably banned since I was a kid.

either a goldfish or betta.
oldest fish i actually had in an aquarium was an electric yellow and a plec.
Still have the plec.
