Too long ago to remember. But this time around my first fish were 3 red belly pacus.... They have since been traded to a LFS.

I bunch of Malawi's... Dad had some when I was young, naturally I thought that was the only cool freshwater fish there was.

I started with goldfish, but I quickly learned the tank was way too small and harder to maintain.. then I purchased a larger tank for them... MORE bigger tanks... nests of breeding tanks... backyard pond... That was over 30 years ago and I still enjoy the fish hobby. I now have large cichlids and gourami and assorted fresh water crustaceans ....
