What was your first monster fish?

adult oscar.. got him for almost free from a tiny lfs..

chinese owner was like, take him! take him! eats too much!!

it was about 12~14" when i got him, a solid 16" when it died (just recently) .. had it for 6 years.

10 piranhas imported from Brazil, they were bout 2" when first brought home, many years back, always biting a chunk outta one another, fed 'em raw chicken, pork & beef, all gone...

2 oscars that quickly outgrew a 10 gallon tank. so i had to sell them back to the lfs.
