Liz - You seem to have to much passion for this hobby. Your broken heart would heal im 100% sure of it....

i am sure it would heal too.. i have lost many things i loved.. but i don't seem to be into trying to duplicate or replace them when they pass on.. i feel every animal or pet we share in our life is an individual.. and to expect to replace it with the same always turns out to be different,.. maybe look the same but not act the same.. or act the same but not look the same.. either that or i am not the same... so if such a devastating thing were to happen my passion would cease to exist too..

1. What would it take right now for you to simply say, "I give up, Im outta here!" to this hobby?

Aye to that. I'd also have to be a bit to give up my fish.

One of my big common plecs passed today, and although I usually don't take my larger fish's deaths so nicely, I'm getting the hang of this thing we call "life".

ive been away from the hobby for a while, but now back in full force, I dont think there is anything apart from death that would keep me away again
