ok so if i stick 22's on my 280bhp s14 is goin to accelerate just as well as it currently does? or drift half as well? No... very misleading statement to make...

The original post was for 17's, so it wasn't a misleading statement at all, and I totally agree. Using 22's on an s14 as an example, however, is misleading. As far as the original question......Don't get the can; if you get the lambos, you will then have to install them, and some are very unforgiving; intakes are a dime a dozen; the amp is about as cheap an amp you'll find......if anything, get the wheels. As said, it's the single easiest visual impact you can make on a car.

All that being said I'd bet even if they are larger, wider and heavier than your standard wheels you wont really notice anything differant unless your car is very underpowered.

Dex...

Actually you will notice it.. I noticed the difference from 21lb wheels to 16lb wheels on a rx7.. so even on a decently powered car you notice the difference in acceleration but also cornering.. whether those out there with cheap 17-18"+ wheels(which is what was posted) want to admit that or not is another issue.

dont bother.... go spend a few yrs learning about mechanics then do the engine ur self...
intake aint gona do **** if u still got cats n crap exit route.... so u should sart on the exhaust.... rims will slow u down.... lambo doors are wack.... and who tha sod are hifonics....? dont bother... if u dont know then get to know and do this probly.... what car is it anyay???

lol pretty much..

I would go for the rims though but be wise to sponserships and look to the rules of the sponsership. See if you have to attend a certain number of shows or have huge sticker on your car somewhere.

I'd go for performance. Intake or exhaust. The exhaust is the most expensive, so I'd get that.

okay the parts are going to be added to a 1994 geo prizm.

to clear it up. im going for looks and performance.but mostly performance. no rice, cuz rice burners are wack. lol

for the rim discussion, the rims are super lightweight, i know this by a fact cuz i wanted those rims for a while and i have checked them out personally.

If you are going for performance I would say none of the options are a good way to start out. What purpose does your car serve? What is its job? Is it a daily driver/street racer or drag strip? Is it mostly a show car? If its primarily a show car I wouldnt worry about performance because u cant see that. But if its some kind of "race" car them I would focus on performance over looks.

I would go for RIMS. Most show cars are appreciated while PARKED not to be driven by the admirer, hence the performance would not matter to me.

I think it just depends what you value more? performance? looks? sound? etc.

WE NEED PICS ALREADY!!!

Forged wheels add the benefit of less unsprung weight. Too bad hip-hoppers don't rap about that:

My forged wheels reduce unsprung weight/
I don't know what's heavier, your rims or your date!

Looks without performance = RICE. Go with performance, otherwise put a spoiler on it that touches the clouds, 40" rims that blind passers by, and a 40" exhaust that let's those 105 HP breathe.

Wheels. The rest of that junk is a joke.

Just out of curiousity, who sponsors a Geo that isn't already modded to the limit?

I'd slip on some snow tires. Maybe screw in a few thousand illegal metal ice studs. (ride'n dirty Canadian style) Over stock base model, flat black steel rims.
The smallest rims available. So I'd have a few inches to wrap snow chains, in a pinch.
I'd leave the intake alone. This is Canada! Cold air comes standard.
And I'd leave the restrictive factory exhaust. That'll open up real nice the first time I try to get to work at 3am, before the snowploughs clear a lane.
No fancy smancy juke box in the trunk. That's for a shovel, bag'o'gravel, sleeping bag, candles, candy bars and a vacuum sealed carton of cigarettes.(du Maurier King size. If yer wait'n fer spring, always go with King size.)
That's about it. As long as the defroster/block heater works, it'll do A-OK at my local Show N Shine.
