Well a few weeks ago my tank broke and caused 5 grand worth of damages to my dads house. Now he has changed his mind about setting up a tank again in my room cuz he's worried it may happen again. I need to have my fish in a 55 for growout tank. Would you try talking to him and see if he changes his mind? O r would you... Set the tank up in the basement if he will let you. I would hate to set the tank uo in my basement cuz then i dont get the joy of watching them like i do in my room. My basement isnt finished so its just for storage.. What do you think? Any ideas. I need help asap

5 Gs in damages? Be very grateful that your dad is even considering letting you put up a tank in his basement. Don't press your luck. Take the 55gal.-basement deal and wait until the busted tank is a distant memory before you ask to place another tank in your room.

I'm gettiing married in a year so just about all of my money is going towards bills and saving money b4 the wedding for my own place.... so no acrylic
