Well if I had that tank, I'd keep a trio of Crocodile Skinks ([SIZE=-1]Tribolonotus gracilis) in it. You don't see them very often but they are pretty easy to keep and breed. I think their so neat looking too, like little dragons!

From what I've read, these guys do fine in pairs or trios with only one male per enclosure. They don't need a great deal of space and a pair in a 20 or 30 gallon long aquarium will work fine. They are quite small when born (about 2.5 inches long) and max out in size around 8-10 inches. They can be held but are shy. It might take a little while for them to get use to you. I don't think they'd ever become as tame as a Leopard Gecko, but hey, who knows. Not much is known about them in the wild. But They do require high humidity so keeping them on cypress mulch is probably a good idea. They also are nocturnal by nature so hides are important. One side of the tank should be kept around 82˚ while the other side should be about 10 degrees cooler. They don't require any special lighting. Adults should be feed large crickets, grasshoppers, waxworms, mealworms and the occasional pinkie.

Yep, that too! I though I read some where that a majority of them are found along stream banks in the wild. Do you know any good breeders of these guys, Varanio? I'm really considering getting a pair of these skinks for my next reptile.

Haha a nice substitute if you cant own a crocodile! Either that or a chinese croc lizard, croc gecko, caiman lizard, alligator lizard.... hahaha

I'd do either a ball python, a small iguana, saltwater fish, or a large turtle. First choice would be the python.
