What would you get??? Bearded vs Hedgehog

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They can be tamed. And since it didn't know you of course it would get nervous and ball up.

We had to do community service to graduate from high school. I did mine at a childrens zoo at a science center.

They had a Hedge Hog there that I had to feed Cockroaches to. He would flip them over and eat them like a oyster.

If you tried to touch him he would ball up, get really upset and huff and puff.

Wasn't much of a pet and not really very interesting.

imho

but maybe ours was not the norm

Is it true that Bearded dragons stink? I've read that Hedgehogs can be litter box trained and they dont have that "urine" smell the way hamsters do..

I know it will be easier to convince the hubby to go for the Bearded... hmmmm..

the dragons themselves don't smell. but their poop does..must be all the greens they eat ;)

spot cleaning and daily maintinance eliminates any smell.

Do hedgehogs have quills like a porcupine??

Since there are no native species of hedgehogs in either Canada or the US, many people mistake the domestic hedgehog for a porcupine. Porcupines are an entirely different and unrelated animal. While porcupine quills are extremely sharp, barbed, and extremely dangerous, the hedgehog quill is smooth and not nearly as sharp. Many people compare petting a friendly hedgie to a hairbrush
