The only thing it does not do is clean the bottom but I have sand so i dont vacuum it anyways.

Probably won't ever buy another Aqua Clear filter. I had three leak within a month. I'll stick to sumps and canister filters.

Were you running lava through them? J/K. I believe you, but what actually happened? Bad seals or cracks in the plastic? I run AC's on almost every tank I set up and have had few issues thus far. Were yours used, maybe dried out too long? *eyes filters nervously*
