I like the sevrum idea. I would do a sev, a chocolate and a school of larger tetras/barbs like filamentosis barbs, silver dollars, rosey barbs. Dang. That sounds good. Hang on while I go setup another tank. lol

A mbu puffer would definitely not be an option. They require a tank the size of a small walk-in closet as adults, and they're usually extremely aggressive.Catfish97;4922317; said:a few tank mates on the smaller side, like a pictus cat, maybe a common pleco once it gets bigger. 135? maybe a mbu puffer, nice size, as long as its kinda deep
If there's ever an issue with balancing out the bottom-top dweller ratio, you could always just add a school of silver dollars.Ashers;4923196; said:Thanks for the input everyone, they are all great suggestions. I've never heard of some of the fish suggested, a great learning opportunity for me as i google them lol.... I think I've narrowed it down to: ropefish, senegal bichirs, denison barbs, angel fish, and red tailed black shark (my boyfriend loves them). also still considering but will probably decide against an oscar, jewel cichlids, kribensis, and pictus catfish.
Now I just have to decide which ones and how many. >_< so many of the fish I like are bottom dwellers, but i like balanced tanks with bottom, and mid/top dwellers arghh.
they are nippy...Ashers;4923196; said:Thanks for the input everyone, they are all great suggestions.
