African Aros arent ugly to me neither,they just cant hold theyre own.I would look for perch like fish or the bichirs.To me most fish just dont look like they belongwith dats.

ive found the dats that i've kept to be peaceful so other similar tankmates would be good. ive had mine with bichirs, cichlids, cats, and a fei feng.

LOL...had the same thing happen to me. I have 2 flag tails in grow out tanks and i want to put them in the big tank when they reach a good size.
