what would you vote on in an 85 gallon?

5 african mudskippers, 5 archers, 5 monos, 3 dragon gobies for cleanup (they are filter feeders and primarily scour the bottom), 5 black lyretail mollies for algae (1m/4f) AND wet/dry sump filtration to keep the water extra clean to avoid disturbing the mudskippers as much as possible

OR

6 needlefish, 8 monos, 3 dragon gobies, 10 black lyretail mollies (2m/8f)
undergravel

Would not take this advise.

Your friend needs to let us know if he wants a few or one cool fish or a community. That will cut the ideas back. alot

well he likes lots of fish so community would work for him, but for an 85 i think he would have to make it really awsome. i personaly think he should get africans, but hes not up to the idea. or some blood parrots and a school of giant dainos.

My first choice would be an Oscar and maybe a Jack Dempsey.

My second choice would be a Red Devil and a couple of Convicts.

My third choice would be a Mbuna community tank.

now it has fish. ok it did have some feeders aka guppys and a few other minow type. and you proof read the post

the only problem with the silver dollars is that they are eating all of my plats so im going to have to get some seaweed and put it in the tank for them to eat so they will leave my plants alone. but im slowly getting fish and it will still end up becoming something, so far its starting to go with a somewhat oddball look. i just need to get more variety of fish in there.
