so all these people are liers? they had there xbox's for years with no problems.
 
Did I call them liars? ok didnt think so, they are just some of the lucky ones.
 
The PlayStation 3 (often referred to as the PS3) was meant to be the console of the future, but its release in November 2006 was overshadowed by lateness and rumors on cutbacks made by Sony. Another disappointing aspect of the PS3 is the removal of the Emotion Engine, which means that games which were released for the PlayStation 2 have to be run using software emulation, causing the loss of several functions for the older games.
Both the Wii and the Xbox 360 have enjoyed immensely popular games released for consoles. Halo 3, a first-person shooter game is often credited to having a large part in the success of the sales of the 360. Yet no game for the PlayStation 3 has been released which could provide potential customers initiative to purchase Sony's console.
One of the major obstacles that Sony faces trying to sell its product is the hefty price-tag that comes with the PS3: Sony has charged as much as 600$ for its product. With the Wii costing just 250$, and the Xbox 360 only 350$, the PS3 is a very large investment and not many people are willing to spend that much for a video game console.

The title was not which system he should get, it was which XBOX he should get. So enough arguing about PS3 vs 360, go start another thread. It's an endless debate like glass vs acrylic.
 
I'm not going to argue with someone so single minded and so incompetant as to not be able to do their own simple research and make a realistic comparison on which item is the better value, and as for your other post you copied and pasted due to lack of personal ideals and support is that...you get what you pay for. That article has got to be like 3 years old as well.
 
he posted something on a FORUM wanting an opinion, opinions are what he got. All though, Ive stated nothing but facts anyone knowing how to use google can callaborate this. My post i posted about 5 minutes ago says all i need to say, so, Good day and good luck with your decision, this elementary last word stuff is below me. and telling someone to shut up because statistically their system truly is superior, from lack of better communication skills is a good way to "argue" wouldnt you agree?
 
*coughs* I'd put the money into a gaming pc. I grew up on console gaming and buddies still try to sell me on xbox. There's nothing better than gaming on a pc. Better control, better graphics, better gaming experience. There's a ton more buttons on a pc than a console controller, and the pc keys are easier. And, pc games have larger arenas- 64 player maps as opposed to 32 on xbox. I know xbox supposedly has larger # player servers, but you'll find more players online with much more full servers on a pc.

Xbox, lol. I play my buddy's xbox with his 5 year old and that's as far as it gets. My buddy is hardcore into xbox with Rainbow 6, and I see the game is awesome. But play doesn't compare to the pc experience.

Just my 2 cents.
 
The question is WHAT XBOX SHOULD I GET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously people, this is why you can't make a thread about anything without people derailing and bickering. Answer the damn question, which means don't speak of PS3's. If you like PS3's and you want to suggest buying a PS3 then this isn't the thread for you! I wouldn't go into a thread titled "What is a good type of goldfish to get for my new tank" then come in saying you should get a bichir. Yes I'm comparing apples to oranges here, but you get the gist. Rant done, have a great day for the ones who are helping him decide which XBOX to purchase. For the others.........
