They aren't really monsters but I really like my convict cichlids. My female is still small but she stands up for herself and is very intelligent.

hard to say, JD tank so colorful, Oscar tank so inter active with me. Jag tanks such a puzzle to me. not think I have a fav.

I really enjoyed my blue acara when I had one, very laid back, but kept the peace in the tank if convicts acted up etc. Plus great colours, like a mini green terror

Jags have been my favorite. Great colors and intelligent...but man does my tank look like a wreck 90% of the time.

Must say my butti or pearsi.... I like the pearsi for more of the peaceful side of things + the purple tint they can get is great

Butti is a pure nut job which I love most the time... cleaning the tank is a nightmare his the only fish who charges at me and refuses to run away from a stick... he has also broken a 2000 otto and recently smashed up a 16 000lph laguna pump lucky it still works :| I still have no clue how he did that.......

Dovii & Umbee are up there of course but I find them much much more mellow then the butti.
