What's a good asking price for....

you guys are missing out then. Come to my area where LFS dont make deals and you cant get new setups for under $350. I just sold a 55g for $200, it cost me $100. It came with everything except fish and decor. I have sold 29g complete setups for $150. Apparently you all live in bigger areas and cant charge that much,
I guess the demographics of an area have something to do with the pricing. However, I just got a 125g with stand, canopy, filter, glass tops, and heater for $250 bucks. I got my 55gal with stand ac 500 filter ebo jager heater and a background for $35.00.... Stay tuned to MFK a lot of members sell great equip at greater prices in the buy and sell forum.
wow. 35$ for a complete 55 gallon setup is a helluva deal. you basically stole that from them or the previous owner just wanted to get rid of it bad. so far on craigslist, at least in my area, i have never come across anything like the deals you guys get. i've seen a like new 75 gallon (just tank and stand) asking for 499$ and a 20 gallon complete set up asking for 169$. there was even a guy selling a CRACKED 75 gallon as a reptile tank for 199$! 
as of now, i'm content w/ my 125 but i'm looking to upgrade in the near future. i'm willing to be patient and wait out for a good deal this time.
as for the 55, i'm gonna be patient and still ask for 200$ obo. it's a good deal considering what everyone else is selling and their prices. maybe i should add a picture this time. i tried to attach a pic but it showed as a red x on craigslist.

right i did prove a point, i got it for 100, but i knew what i had and sold it for 200. To some one who wasnt a hobbiest. THAT is MY POINT he can put it in the paper for 200 and some Jo-Blow person is gonna see it and be like damn what a deal. Also the tank was my cousins, and i had to spend 100 to get new bulbs, filter, heater. So the tank complete setup was free, but **** didnt work so i bought brand new stuff for it.
