Totally agree... would love to see lyonsi more available.dogofwar;3346048; said:How about something from the ACA CARES Conservation Program list (http://www.cichlid.org/ACA_CARES.html )?
These are fish that are endangered or threatened in the wild, so the ACA is encouraging hobbyists to maintain captive lines of them.
There are quite a few new world fish in the program:
Amphilophus bussingi
Amphilophus lyonsi
Amphilophus rhytisma
Archocentrus altoflavus
Archocentrus myrnae
Archocentrus nanoluteus
Archocentrus septemfasciatus
Archocentrus spinosissimus
Parachromis sp. La Ceiba yellow head - a new addition.
There are also tons of Victorians and other cichlids on the list...
