Are you serious? If they're your parents, and they don't want you getting rid of them....then don't! Not only is it a respect for the fish, it's a respect for your parents!!

i totally agreed:cool:

This thread has been derailed a bit. It boils down to two options:

1) Buy a separate tank for the angels

2) Give them to a good home. This one is more open to interpretation.

Do not kill them.

they have theyre own tank, full of goldfish. i said buy a heater for it and put the angels inside. i wanted a bigger tank than a 4x2 but they said no. my parents are very tight... unlike me

i think its funny LOL... you totally sound like a rebellious teenager... but i dont blame you either, i understand. Just say your aro killed em and take em and sell em. Thats what i'd do

I would take em off your hands, but going against your parents never turns out good.:nilly: How old are they? How big? Could the arro "eat them"?

i don't think it's cruel for something that cannot feel pain.

you HAVE to mix clove oil with alcohol or it won't mix with the water. you know, oil and water don't usually mix?

You don't have to "mix" it, you only have to agitate it enough to disperse the oil into small enough particles that the fish will absorb it in safe amounts.

Fish may not feel pain in the sense that we do, but they sense distress and discomfort. I am sorry if I was mistaken but I was under the impression that, when getting into this hobby, we were signing up to voluntarily put these creatures of lesser intelligence under our care and give them the best possible treatment that we could. Maybe if you're not up for that you shouldn't have fish. They are still living creatures that were created by millions of years of evolution, just like you (or created by god if that's your thing). Sorry if I don't feel sympathy for your point, but they are animals, not ornaments... treat them like it. They didn't ask for you to care for them, you did.

Another bad suggestion from you. Goldfish are a coldwater fish, and you already seem to know that angels are warm water.
