African Butterflies are actually very common compared to most Polypterus. Almost any online store will carry the former while only Senegals will be available in retail for Bichirs unless you find a vendor.

Matter of opinion, I'm sure mine is in the minority though.

i like the look of african butterfly fish, but there are more variaties of bichirs... so its hard to pick
