That's cool to have. I love red texas.
I was thinking xanthic and gold were same. Just looked up. Look great too. I think the female Chris had died, not 100% sure, he is planning a hybrid now.
What are you planning for kamfa line, zz x vieja or mix something else?

I have a nasty gut/syn vieja x Texas cross. Not sure what to use for a female yet. Everything I've tossed in with him manages to get turned into a Scooby snack to date. I likes expensive meals. He always figures a way to outsmart the divider.

I didn't breed this guy. I had him imported a couple years back. I started with a ZZ female. She laid a couple times but no luck. Next was a KKP, which I thought I seen a few wigglers but they didn't last long if they were. I had a beautiful KML with him but he actually opened the door in the divider and let her over to his side. That was a heart breaker. I tried the Texas route and had him with a SRT. They actually got along but she never laid. The last one I tried was one of my veil tails, once again he opened the door. He's smart and he's mean.
Lol I wasn't saying ya have bred him with another fish I was just saying that ya bred him into existence. Sorry for the confusion. Honestly I would love to see what ya could get by mixing him with a festae or possibly a black nasty.
I think I could get one heck of a RT strain with him with his shape. I was bummed that female he got along with didn't lay. She has a nice deep red base.
Got any pics of the lil lady? She sounds nice. Lol if ya lived closer I'd loan ya one of my female FH's. Only problem with the big gal I got is she straight up kills everything ya put in with her. These are my 2 girls btw. Least to say, hard to find a good looking male for sale when he's got to be over 8in for the biggest of the 2 girls.
That's a beast. Definitely some red would be good with his traits in a offspring. How about a vieja female?
