Exactly... A guy was also selling one locally at that price sometimes back when i wasn't confident enough to get the more exotic fishee... Maybe the one in the fish store is gold plated or something...
Off topic (somewhat) What do rays go for? Here they're $1000 a piece.juvenile Silver aros are around $30-$40 and pearl aros are around $100. Rarer aros will go for $300 for juveniles

My current favorite is the Nimbochromis Fuscotaeniatus aka Fusco. He's the blue & red torpedo that dominantes every fish in the tank.

I've actually been chatting with @RD about my next set up.
I really like nimbochromis venustus, always have but I've only really just dipped in and out with rifts. I know Neil has a lot of knowledge and experience with Africans so I approached him for a bit of guidance.
He was more than helpful and I can't wait to get this project underway.
I switched from a South American community to African Rift four years ago. Although I do miss my Festae & Rivulatus, the Fusco, Venustus, Red Empress, Eye Biter & Various male Peacocks, more than make up for my loss. Lol.
Been thinking of changing one of my 125s over to a all male Peacock tank ... seriously thinking it over.... lol
