trust me i have taken some precautions. i took down about 3 50ish gallon tanks to prep the room for the 500, but kept 2 of them running on canisters incase any little gar (or expensive gar ;)) need to be moved from the big guy for a week or two.

once the 500 is ready, if any aggression is showing, i can grow out the smaller gar for a bit in the 150 since it was be basically empty and then move them when they are a safer size.

haha, isn't that always expected?

btw, i am really loving the blotchy pattern of that T-gar. it's one of the things that's always drawn me to that species (along with the fact that i simply can't have them).

It's always worth looking into. The only reason I say that is because we are talking about gar, which are much more capable of surviving such a trip compared to most fish.

Maybe someday...!
