Wow thank you for the advice and the photos, ive had my goonch for about 3 weeks now and hes already grown an inch. I keep him in room temperature with alot of flow but also alot of hides, driftwood, smooth river rocks, etc. yours and my goonch look very similar but mines only about 4 inch currently. Youve got a great set up dor yours, the live plants make it look alot better. How big is your tank, it looks huge.A little bit late, but here are a few better pics:

The first photo is 3 weeks after i got him and the second one is when he first arrived and he’s already put on a lot of size since then.

Wow thats awesome and thats a huge tank. I bought mine as bagarius bagarius aswell from wes. Hes in a 75 gallon af the moment but im moving into my 300 gallon pond in a month once he gets some size to him.Yes, they look like siblings^^

It is important to me to keep the tank as natural as possible... but the live plants are hard to keep alive because of my cichlids^^
