[/QUOTE]Sorry to hear that. Females are less aggressive to each other and the male will spread his "attention" between all the females. Line of sight is big with them too, if they don't see a lot of each other there is less aggression.
Tank looks good.
Cichlids are....... well cichlids. You can give them multiple hiding spots and they will still fight over 1 in particular spot then one day they will be fighting over another spot. Hopefully they get it figured out. Likemagpie said more fish may help the settle down.
Thanks! Cichlids are interesting characters. You are definitely right about them fighting over one spot. Even though there are two caves. I did see the one who's in the corner go in the second cave for a bit. But it likes to sit on top of the algae scrubber in the corner of the tank. Neither of them really swim around much which is a little sad, but they are cute. By more fish do you mean more blood parrots, more cichlids or add the polys? I have plans to add 2-3 polys, but am interested in adding other fish if it will help with the parrots.
Thanks, Jaws! Slowly but surely. Can't wait to order some polys now! Have to wait for my paycheck first. Then I'll be really back in the poly game.Looks great glad to see your back in the game sorry about the puffer though
Thanks Polyaddict! It was sad because it was a puffer, but thankfully I wasn't super emotionally invested in it. Will have to invest in a glass lid or plastic cutout lids to help seal off the open top of my tank. especially before the polys get here. What are you using for Noah's tank?Sorry to hear about the puffer![]()
