where would I find a cheap fixture/bulb like that? Amazon? Any links would be appreciated.No problem, glad to help. I really like the look of

Is the bulb markedly thinner than a regular fluorescent tube? I'm thinking it would be unusual for it to be a T5 as they are a high output (T5HO) bulb and would blast a 10g with light. Easy enough to tell, just place it on the 55g. If it's dim, it's not a aT5.
The good news is, you don't have to go out and spend a bunch of money on an expensive light fixture. Your plant choices will do well in medium light, would grow well with a regular 40w fluorescent tube (or better a double tube fixture), and aren't demanding fertilizer / supplement wise. Plants like Anubis are quite slow growers, and therefore often become algae covered in higher light scenarios. Polys will appreciate the lower light levels as well.
Edit to add: If possible, try to get bulbs in the range of 6400k spectrum as they produce good growth.

it's been a hot minute. The manager gave me the glo danios for free because the order got messed up. Only had to pay for the giant danios.
Also he said he would just give me store credit for the teug. He's a really awesome guy. Really knows how to take care of his fish and customers.

Now the other guy who I'm not too fond of and the manager of the DDP store....that's a different story lol. Maybe they got wind of the plans haha.

Hers an Amazon link to the 4' Sunblaster with reflector. Not the cheapest I've seen them but it's a starting point. I do like that you can hang them or just set them on the tank as is. Also, they come with a connecting chord so you can join then together and run them in a bank off the same timer.

LED's are now very affordable and a good choice as well
