First post - new member. (Gotta start somewhere ) I have a blue/white Irredescent Shark that is one of my original fish when I first started collecting. Had him since he was a little fry and now he's pushing 26 years old. He's about 14 - 15 inches and would probably be bigger if I could afford more than a 90 gallon tank! He's got it all to himself now though. Will upload pic soon

Currently my oldest is about 5 years old. The oldest one I ever had was a 10 year old Oscar.

I’m newerish to keeping fish. So my oldest are 4yrs old. Those are my pond fish, since starting a pond got me interested in keeping tanks. My koi ranged in size from 2” to 6” when I got them. The biggest female is over 18”. But haven’t measured since last spring.
Oldest inside tank fish is I think about a year and a half maybe? My female green terror (a little over 6” again it’s been a while since I measured) and my kids glofish.

I’d love to see pictures of your guy.
Inside pond an option? That would be less expensive new then most large tanks are used. In my area at least it would be. Lol

Love to hear about people in the hobby with super old fish. 26yrs/old is amazing! Sharks, catfish and some gourami can live crazy long lives in a tank.

I think my oldest are two SAEs I bought when I got back into the hobby seriously in 2013. They're 5yrs old and I've heard they can live to 20+ in a tank.

My oldest is a clown Loach pushing 8 years now.
