What's the arowana for me...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you're broke right now I recommend you keep saving until you can buy the arowana you really want. The cheapest green or jardini will cost the same to house and maintain as a high grade red or XB over it's life, why take a short cut now and be looking at a low quality fish for the next 10 years thinking "if only I was a little more patient" every time you look at your tank...

Hmmm seems justifiable, thanks, yep I might have to do savings for this one, and with that I have to cultivate some cockroach, cricket, and earthworm farm for the fish for it's diet... that would also gives me time to save... true true...

your still lucky about the price of arowana for me for a b grade is about 5000 to 6000 and for a A grade its about 10 000 to 20 000 thats for like a blue base chilli red. rtg and x back are about 3000 to 5000 for a grade and there also illegal except for silvers wich are about 500 to 1000

did I mention that it's just a grade b prize? oh well. I still have to be thankful that this beautiful fish is available and isn't illegal, I wonder, why is it illegal in your place? If the government were afraid of people who would release aro's in the local creek or river then they may have some unused dead braincells over there..

in aus almost all the predators are banned only your common nice fish like some ciclids and tetras. aus is very strict with fish. well any animals.

this is your best choice it might cost you but its worth it

1 x rtg or asian arowana or silver arowana
1 x tigrinus or juruense
1 x flagtail
4 x polypterus of different kinds
1 x datnoid or a group of datnoids
1 x ray
get them all while they are juveniles it will be a asian style community tank.
here rtg only cost $350 red arowanas $500 WITHOUT CERTIFICATE.
try getting an asian arowana from some farm which breeds them i'm sure it must be cheaper

hey E.C. theres a arowana farm in uk and they ship anywhere in the world

Dude marry me. No kiddin, No homo. If you're a girl!!! Thanks!! I've got some poly's with me, 3 long finned Sen. 2 Albino (1 normal, 1 SB), a bandedless Delhezi, (I love the spots rather than the stripes)
And yeah may I ask, I don't want any flagtails, they're like milkfish on here, a primary source of fish which we eat. but I might go for Clown loach maybe 5-6 of em, would that be safe to mix for a potential Aro/Ray/Triginus??
I decided and now planing to make a 700-750g long for this, a mounted wall aquarium.

if your planing on giving the tig aro and ray lunch then go for the clown loaches
