About ten years ago I got a 55g tank, stand, hood, decorations, substrate, canister filter for $100. This weekend I am pick up a 125g for $125, 75g w/ stand and 38g w/ stand for $100. That price is offset by the fact I have to rent a van for two days to the tune of $100. Gas prices will factor into it as well. Regardless, I am pleased w/ the price.

the 72g bowfront (which is now my SW tank) was free, my dad went to look at a car for sale and saw the tank in the mans garage, he asked about it, and the guy said if he knew anyone who wanted it, to come pick it up for free.
needless to say, i took a day off work, picked it up. bout a wet/dry, light, protein skimmer.
it came with..for free. about 40lbs base rock
aragonite (which i thouroghtly cleaned)
and the oak stand (that i restained)
and now i love it to death, it couldnt have come at a better time.
