any good models and brands for WD filtration set ups?

A DIY w/d is the best way to go. You can design it to any specs you want. Make it "ghetto" or "professional" is your choice. Many like to go on the cheap, and I mean really cheap...rubbermaid bins/buckets and what not. As for me, I like to make it look nice and I use a tank (20g Long) for my 125, and when I do get my 210 or 300 tank within this year, I'm going to convert my old 55g into a huge w/d for the new tank and the 125g.

As for your case, if money is an issue, go with the cheapest way to make a w/d (buckets, bins etc.) and you are not concerned about the way the filter looks. If you have extra money to burn, go with a new or used tank..55g and up since you are planning a 300g/200g tank. Get some plexi from lowes or hd and some egg crate plastic and design your w/d to your desire. It'll cost less than buying a pre-made w/d and you can have as much space for your biomedia, heaters, pads etc... as opposed to a pre-manufactured one. :D
