Glad I read the OP post first. 190gallon that I owned personally(I don't get to other people's houses much).

As far as outside the rules: a swimming pool size tank.

A LFS had an all glass 500-1000 gallon tank once before.
 
there is a LFS in cincy that has like a 10K blacktip reef shark tank. and I saw that after I posted the first time so Mine has changed.
 
why you guys mentioning about public aquariums?
New York Aquarium, 10,000 gallons, 20,000 gallons, 50,000 gallons.....
for Shark+Tortoise+Stingray tank, Sea Lion, etc...

Yeah ... It's pretty cool It's more of a pond but it does have viewing windows. so I guess a pondarium is more like it .lol

which big als do you happen to go to? i was talking to the manager at the Big Als i go to and he mentioned knowing arapaimag while working at another big als (or it may have even been at this one)

largest tank i have seen personaly is my own 150 (though id LOVE to see arapaimag's tanks seriously i would pay to see that tank lol)

Yeah, it's a very cool place. In fact, I think I'm headed there tomorow or Wednsday :)

I worked at the hamilton big als for several years and met him there while he was fish shopping. very nice man. knows his stuff about his monsters too.
