What's The Biggest Aquarium You've Ever Seen?

1200 gallon. Saltwater tank. Owned by a guy we did a stainless steel sheetmetal job for in Pebble Beach. Awesome guy. Impressive tank to say the least. He has a huge indoor koi pond as well.

Several 200-300 tanks i've seen.


My all time favorite tank doesn't count for this but it's the 120,000 gallon tank at the Seattle aquarium. It has a 20' x 40' viewing window that is about 12 inches thick. Simply amazing.

voted wrong biggest personal tank ive seen was at a friends house has a 2000 gal in the wall

I gut from our local fish forum has a 300g tank I saw in person. Its not the largest on the forum but it's the biggest I have seen in person.

Oh yea I would also pay to see Arapaimag's tanks. He took fish keeping to an entire new level and then he took it up 4 steps further.

Biggest I've seen was a 1000 gallon at a local fish store in Sacramento. Used to frequent that place all the time while I was in college.

Eh, I've not been to the homes of many fishkeepers. The biggest tank that I've ever seen was a 90,000g shark tank at the Coney Island Aquarium, but I didn't vote since it's not a personal tank.

to be honest, i have yet to see a tank here in our place that is bigger than my 180, so i have to say 100+.
