I've said what I've said before, so you don't need to hear it again.....However, a small BN would be fair with a Senegal or Delhezi, on that note You will have to watch it

what did you say before?
sorry, ive got a fairly bed memory.

I think he's implying that Bichirs and Plecos don't mix... Plecos will suck the slime coat off of the Bichir hence killing it...

The sad thing is that NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I tell my local Petsmart, they refuse to house their Sens seperately from their Plecos. I guess they enjoy removing dead fish from their tanks each day , but they WILL NOT change their set-ups. I don't get it???

nah hes saying that a little BN will be fine eith it but ive got to watch it... how bout the clown plec?

I've had my bichirs with plecs for a long time, some for almost ten years now. My issue is that the smaller plecs get killed by the polys.

i had problems wit bristle nose plecos id say try a herbivore only pleco

GBB I've also asked the petcare managers to seperate the sens from the plecos and they don't see a large enough spike of loss to care about it....BN are fully herbacious to my knowledge but yes slime coat is tasty for many Plecos but as Simon said Pleco+Bichir can work if you watch diligently

the tank bottom's fairly broken up, so i think ill try it out... the clown rarely comes out of his cave and the BN is fully herbivorous... worst case scenario, i bring the bichir back.

plus, i spend a couple hours a day watching my fish (the tank's a big distraction when i do my homework in my room lol) so i should be able to spot any problems quickly.

i have both and i dont have any problems but all fish are differnt
