Whats the deal with the FX5 shutting on and off?

You have me totally and completely wrong. In every single way. And to be honest, i feel like this isn't a great place to post anymore.

I'm done. So so so so so done.

I'll try posting a year from now.

Sorry, I just feel like i'm attacked more often than not, and I am such a positive person and pacifist, that i can't really stomach it.

I'll still read and comment on nice tanks and fish, but i'm done starting threads.

I haven't had mine that long and I noticed it going off within a couple of days. Good thing I knew it was going to do that.

I'm the nicest guy you'll ever meet. I'm not sure why people get so mad. Have I complained about money in the past, yes. But i'm thinking long term here, i.e. if I had to buy one fx5, and then wait 5 months to buy the other so be it. I ALWAYS appreciate threads posting pictures or information about over filtration. And I just thought that a 110 being so high, it may need extra filtration.

And again, broken record time... don't do as I do... please. I over filter all my tanks, which leads to people calling me crazy.

You could also look around for used FX5s that sell for cheaper. I over filter too, but apparently not as much as you do.
