whats the difference between a regular Delhezi Bichir and a WC Delhezi Bichir

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wild caught fish in general tend to have better coloring and patterns than captive breed (farmed) fish. There are exceptions to this. Being WC doesn't make them more aggressive and non WC fish.

There are pro's and con's to both tank raised and wild caught fish, bichirs included.

In many, many cases a farm bred fish will have higher immunity to diseases and be hardier in general.

Just as equally, a wild fish will usually display much more brilliant patterns than their home bred counterparts.

. . . Because, in the case of Delhezis, nature can't be beat. But, with many types of fish, captive breeding has created some true beauties.
