i tryed mixing my cichlid gold with a non quallity pellet and my fish just weeded out the gold pellets and left the others

My food smells of fish or shrimp, or some smells of garlic. If I bought a food and found it smelled like the back end of a donkey, I wouldn't conclude I had a quality food... No, it would go in the trash faster than you can say donkey butt.
