GET PLATYS!!!!!!!!!!! They are awesome and they are livebearers! Mollies and swordtails are also cool.

Haha so when I started this thread, I didn't even know what a con was now I got fifty fry swimming around!!!
I Started breeding Convicts they are really easy just add water. they are great parents aggresive. they dont eat there young. no need for a breeding net they will do just fine in the tank. I got mine and figured I would have to wait a few months before they got big enough to breed but within a few weeks I was shocked to see fry swimming around. it is really cool to watch them. all you need is a male and a female they like sandy substrate and a hiding place. alot of people use clay pots and I found they work great. they get a hiding spot yet you still get to watch thats my 2 cents anyways
A breeding net will not work for any of the egg layers/scatters. Just use your entire 10 if you want to breed.
