That a fish's eye can get damaged if kept in a bucket for too long. I was told by swimming in circles repeatably around the bucket with it's eye against the bucket it can damage it.

Same here. I've kept fish on and off for 25 years. I realize now that I don't know that much and most of my success was by accident.
