No Wolf3101, you have to remember your glass is half full not half empty...

It's not how little we know... It's how much we still have to learn! :D

(Like keeping the lid half on the tank when you dump your LMBs in so they don't rocket right back out!!!)

Ain't life Great :D

I never said I haven't learned anything....just that the most INTRESTING thing I learned was how little I REALLY know...

The day you assume you know it all is the day you stop learning.

However if your talking about practicle tips.....

NEVER use your wifes prize crystal pitcher to scoop rinsed crushed coral into one of your tanks....

My fish have taught me to sit quietly and just watch the fish. It is odd that in our fast pace lives we miss so much. I have sat for the last three month in front of my fish tank and just stared at it like it was a television. The program and the characters never change, but I have yet to lose interest. Sitting quietly and observing I have seen more nuances and awesome little things than mean more to me than any movie could have. Forget taking time to smell the flowers, take the time to watch the fish.

Fully agreed with both above posts!

that my huge 75g was actually a tiny fry rearing tank if I ever really wanted to be a true MFK!!!

Since being "recent knowledge" is the the objective of the thread, is the confirmation that however long in the hobby, you cannot rely on "automaticisms" because "newbie" mistakes are always around the corner such as, cutting corners around Jardini Arowanas..they will always remind you of your mistakes.

And, as stated, that we learn a lot, on a daily basis, with a lot of people we never thought, and that, still, we know next to nothing.

I learned the hard way that opportunistic pounce predators are not to be kept in the feeder tank. Oddball OWNED me on that one.
