whats the longest you've left your fish alone?

im going out of town next week and will be gone 3 full days. my mom volunteered to come feed them in the middle of the week but im not sure if i can trust her feeding them they'd be cool for 3 days w/o food right. who's left their fish the longest w/o food?

They'd be find for 3 days, just doo some good waterchanges before you leave, and they will be fine for when you get back! Just a little hungry! I'd even not feed them after the last water change before you leave to keep the water a bit cleaner.

I agree, three days shouldn't be a problem, unless you've got nippy fish that may start to feed on their tankmates...

I've left my fish for the weekend lots of times.

fish in the wild goes days without eating. fish can live for weeks without eating, wouldnt suggest that but 3 days you should be fine.

Three days should be fine... just feed them a tiny bit more than usual the day before if your worried about them getting hungry.

but be sure to do a water change after feeding ! This was you can be fully confident your fishies are in nice clean water!

I've left them for two weeks over xmas once. As long as they're healthy it shouldn't be a problem, unless some of them are big enough to start eating the smaller ones when they get hungry....
