Whats the most expensive fish you ever bought???

i payed for a 50 dollar red belly the size of a tetra, back when my oscar was 4" long and was living with some BA tetras as dithers, but i added the rbp just thinking that he won't notice, and then the RBP grows up with the oscar, but he didnt. i woke up that morning and saw a black tail out of the oscars mouth... i thought they could have a shot since the rbp was so young. still angers me

holy cow those are some expensive silvers! my local meijer has silver dollars for $5!

I had to get them quite big so my Oscar didn’t eat them! The 2 silver dollars were 3 for £45 but they only had the 2 so he let me have them for £30 and the 5 red hooks were £25 each but let me have them for for £115!!!

I’m sure I seen the red hooks in there when they were a lot smaller for 3 for £40! Maybe 1.5-2”
