Whats the most expensive fish you ever bought???

Up until this month my most expensive fish was my ebjd that cost me $50 at the time of purchase. He lived for 2 years.

This past month I have purchased a group of 5 L333 plecos that cost me $300. With the most expensive two from the group costing $70 each (that was with a discount).

If I can get these guys to breed for me I will be saving the money from them to invest in L046’s or L236’s. By the time I am ready for these plecos I hope to have a house and have a dedicated pleco tank for them.

Sizewise: $125 each for 5 tiny L47s long time ago.

The most amount for one fish in the last 6 months was $100 for a L114. Then $60 each for a small L114, and L264s. Ironic thing. Since basement flooded and had to move fish out, im now rethinking of getting rid of the L114s and changing up the pleco lineup again.

Shipping in fish cost: alot of $ the last shipment was 96 dollars for a bunch of fish in the last 6 months.

Most I’ve spent was 45 on a 12 in polypterus lapradei (that I still have 3 years later). Definitely worth it lol.

A mid $700 on a group of bichirs which included a $300 platinum Senegal.

That was a good price the cheapest I ever seen them (when I was into salt anyway)
Was 1,000 of a male and 1,500 for a pair

300 for female and 600 for male here
