I had a barramundi choke to death on my green terror and die with the GT wedged firmly down his throat. When i found them they were at the bottom of the tank i assumed they were both dead as i was removing them the GTs tail flickered i used scissors to chop open the jaw gills of the barra to remove the GT.
The GT survived and made a full recovery after having every scale from the gills forward removed by the barra's gill rakers.

Geeze, how long you figure the GT was in his throat?

Sucked up by filter intake. One time it ground up my feeder comet into pieces. The other time I was moving the impeller to lessen noise and I guess that caused the strainer part to loosen, and my cory cat got sucked up and stuck :(

I had a Lima Shovel nose Cat that had some how gotten under my undergravel filter system. Then he got sucked up one of the tubes by one of my power head. He was too big to be pass by. When i found him much of his body had been sucked off an blown around the tank nasty. Im luck that more fish didnt die

when i was younger id catch anything outa the pond by our house and keep it for however long and at one point i have congo eels..i had to leave for a weekend so i fed them both really well and made sure things were all good to go. i got a phone call later that weekend my mother had come in from work only to find that not only had favorite of the 2 eels escaped, but he had crawled into the kitchen from my bedroom. but the kicker of this was that in his journey from my room to the kitchen, he had acquired her red feather boa and it was stuck to him and rapped all around. so he died in the kitchen on the floor wrapped in bright red feathers..

I'm sure she wanted that boa back...

I had some type of catfish for 3 days and we didn't have enough logs for him so he hid behind the heater and became a fish stick :( I also had some goldfish and thye were my first fish, I always go creek walking with my friends. Well that day we caught three crawdads, so I put them in the tnak and the nexty morning they were on the ground cutting open and eating the dead fish! u could see the organs it was so gross!

2 ft Fire Eel escaped from the tank and went under a plastic bag which i threw on the floor and was too lazy to keep till later

Didn't realised it was under and I squished it to death with my foot :x

Idk if this counts cause it was a near death! but 5 days ago on xmas I got a new fish tank for my fish!It had all the needed stuff so i got it ready and put the fish in. I went to fede him the next hour and he wouldnt move! He didnt eat or anything luckily i dipped my finger in there and the water was freezing! Come to find out we didint have any thermometers that went below 90! We found out that the heatrer didn't work so we tried to go get one but since it was x mas there weren't any open stores! He lived but that ws a terrible day

Marble Goby chasing a feeder goldfish jumped out the tank and my pit puppy happened to be in the room at the time. My Pit Rusty got a hold of him and that was it ripped fish everywhere.
