Whats up? Im new figured id introduce myself (and my setup) =)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yea its better to get ur Ps on a non live diet.. pellets work wonders :D

i also hope your going to upgrade your tanks in the future.. 8 Ps in a 55 will not do.. :D

thats a sweet setup there man! I would be watching movies or playing some xbox all day everyday just so i could check out those awesome tanks!

I agree with the above about the diet. Pellets are the best way to go with a mix of frozen variety. Once you get them used to the pellets they will tear them up all the time! Mine love them and it really helps with the color and it helps keep things a bit cheaper when it comes to food cost!

sweet tanks..... and nice filtration on the big P tank. most newer people just see what the box says and go with it, lol. nice fish and welcome to the world of monster fish keeping...:D

awesome collection!

Thanks alot guys, what do yall reccomend for pellets? do they have some specific for P's? or is it just your standard carnivore pellet? anyone got any suggestions? Yeah i plan on building a 200+ Gal for my 8 babies but not for a few more months...once summer comes around...this is why i joined MFK so i could make sure im taking care of my guys like i should be....ill be taking them off of live feeding now as soon as im done with this batch of feeders, i didnt know it was better to feed non live, and i wasnt doing it for entertainment purposes....so yeah reccomend some good pellets and other foods for a diet!!! iv been reading shrimp and frozen eels etc...they've mostly been on a goldie/beefheart/ghost shrimp diet and im trying to vary it...help a brotha out!!

Although I feed mine primarily shrimp, I also feed clams, squid, scallops, green beans and fish fillets.
My latest tank of babies eat shrimp and frown on most anything else but I'm working to change all that.
