What's with flower horn's color??? Help!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Looks like he's just fading. I would expect him to go a more off-white/pinkish color over time.

Thank you for your reply. I was worry he is sick because i thought FH shouldn't fading. He started to change color about two month ago. How long time does it take to get his finish color?
Sorry for my english) I can't get enough information in russian

I would agree. Looks like your flowerhorn will be a gold base / fader. Good looking fish!

I've honestly never had a FH survive more than 6 or so months. Hex or ick always comes around. I have very bad luck with them, personally. I would think over the course of a couple months, maybe a little longer and he will be mostly faded. He's a looker!

Is there some way to speed up color change? May be i should feed him special food? I've tried hikari but he doesn't eat it. Please advice some feed
