But it does seem awfully easy for nut jobs to LEGALLY get access to guns. And for the same nut jobs to get the permits to LEGALLY walk around in places like movie theaters and bars with them (the 20+ pages of examples that I linked to).

Ironically, other than the genocide part, I kind of agree.

Include mental health screening as part of gun ownership...and permits for concealed carry, etc... and you'll likely reduce the number of these kinds of incidents.

No more guns is a joke.
Anyone hell bent on mass murder could do it with or with out a gun. Explosives are much to easy to construct. Shoot, in a dark over crowded theater the guy could have killed 6 plus with a decent sized knife...

I don't think only the bad guys should own a gun. People need to be able to defends themselves. And criminals/crazies can find guns whether they're banned or not. just as I can walk around the corner and buy some illegal pot... In fact i'm going for a lil stroll right now ;)

You don't need a gun to kill people. Any nutjob hellbent on mass murder will do so with whatever is at his disposal. Just as easily as he walked in to that theater with guns and rifles, he could have done so with a bomb strapped to his chest. What would your silly gun laws have done in that case?

Would the world be a better place if guns were never invented? Maybe? But they're here. And they're here to stay. Nothing you or I or any politician can do or say will change that. EVER. Guns will not be banned in this country. You don't need to like the 2nd amendment, but you need to live with it. Get over the gun-free fairy tale and move on with your life.

more dope=less dead peoplle ,too stoned to care enough to kill ,you got the right idea ,ps ,if you make dope legal you would have enough jail space to house LOTS more people who DESERVE to be there:headbang2
 
Just to elaborate my point I know two people I could get a hold of right now and buy an illegsl unregistered gun in California. I'm pretty confident I could have them with in the hour if I wasnt afraid of the jail time I could receive... And i'm not in some crime circle. I'm a full time family man, a full time college student, and a full time employee. It is just too easy to get illegal items in the united states whether it be drugs, guns, or even wet pets ;)
