What's wrong with my Oscar?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Dude, You are way over populated! You also have fish that are not compatible in the same water conditions. Do the water changes every other day at least and get more tanks. Clean the filter in tank water that you are sucking out too. Reduce your feeding. You need the 55 better a 75 just for the Oscar with neutral ph of 7.0.
The two paratheraps fenestratus need their own 70 gallon with hard water ph 7.6 to 8
The tinfoil and the silver dollar are more compatible as they are veterinarians That need acid water around 6.5 to 6.8 and they need a 90 gallon at least with more of their own kind to be healthy. If you cannot afford more tanks see if your LFS will take them.

You need a better fish store to give you good advice instead of just selling you fish. Do your research before impulse buying. It is your job to provide proper housing for the inmates you purchase. You gotta look at PH requirements, Temp and full size of the fish you want other wise you get over worked, Your fish die just as they start to get really cool.

better off euthanized........thhat is a very bad case of HITH.......

yeah cut down on your bioload, an oscar alone in that tank is too much. you need to test your own water to learn what the parameters actually are, and doing more water changes to keep him in clean water.

LOTS of water changes... do 2 505s every day for a few days... then start doing 1 50% a day till it is better...
