That is a stunning polypterus i would have it but £250 is silly money, its the lowest they will go too btw synojack because they told me it was trade price allready so:(:(

I've asked them about it and they seem flexible, i've had a chat with marvin baker about it too and he seems to think the same as me, £250 is good for teugelsi at that size when you compare it to some international lists......

This was by email. Its ok i will spend the money on another ray or dat:D

P. bichir bichir with the green form. (color seems to vary on these alittle from what I have seen.) I can't pick one to be a favorite I like most all of them. Except for rope fish, never liked them, which is funny because I love the teugulsi.
I would love to get a moke, those are really cool.

havent read this thread for a while, It's been almost a year since I start having bichirs in my tank; the only bichirs that we could possibly get are senegals, albinos, endli, ornate, and longfinned; I've also noticed that they all have different characteristics, and they all cool pets to have; Ornate usually hunt at night, whereas endli always seems to have a big belly and grow really fast; Sens are true hunter in the tank, the fastest hunter to catch prey I say. Albinos are the most greedy bichirs I've known, always eat and eat, you could say is the garbage bin in the tank, so is the perfect choice to have if you dont wanna have leftover in your tank. Longfinned is similar with sens, though its funny to watch it swimming while swallowing its own beard, but not fast as sens.
These are just my observations till now, and if I hv to pick one, its going to be endli now. Watching it growing so fast in the tank and the whole body armour that they have are so heavily cool. By the way everybody hungry at night...so they all hunt when they light goes out
cheers
