Well, what I want right now is...

Boa Constrictor Imperialus(Not some common BCC)
Blood Python
Brazilian Rainbow Boa
Leucistic Ball Python
Pie-bald Ball python
Green Tree Python
Jungle Carpet Python
Dumerils Boa
Blue Tegu
Red Tegu
Blue x Red Tegu
Snow Tegu
Aregentine B/W Tegu
Columbian Tegu
Argus Monitor
Black throat Monitor
Trio of Ackies
Dumeril Monitor
Crocodile Monitor
Nile Monitor
Savannah Monitor
Snow Corn
Motley Corn
Pretty much every corn snake morph...

And If I ever ventured into hots I want to get
Gaboon viper
Black Mamba
Green Mamba
King Cobra
Neo-tropical rattle snake
Spitting Cobra

Theres tons more I cant remember at the moment... But what I really want the most is a pair of Brazilian rainbow boas, and a pair of Blood Pythons...

I have to add to my future hot's list...
Rhino viper
Puff adder
Monocle cobra
Leucistic monocle cobra
Indian cobra
Bothrops asper(doubt I'll ever get one, the venom is INSANE, just google Bothrops asper bite, nasty shibby)
And a few more...

Once I turn 18 and get my venomous keepers permit I will be getting a puff adder, then a gaboon (possibly a pair), albino monocle cobra(possibly a pair), and a few other vipers!

If i had the space, I'd build a large huge enclosure, like 16' x 16' and keep a pair of iguanas.

I'd also love to build a large aviary and keep some black masked loved birds (handraised) and a Cockatoo.

I don't keep venemous, but I do know a good bit about them, and I'd suggest starting off on something less dangerous than cobras and African vipers. Like copperheads or eyelash vipers.

That said, my dream reptiles are an ivory blood or two (one of the very few designer snakes that I like), a Sarawak short-tailed python, a high-yellow blood python, a pair of *really nice* coastal carpets, and a scrub python.

I agree with I wouldn't get any of those african vipers as first hots, they are very strong and large bodied, not the easiest to hook either and some can be very pissy specimens. Cobras are a no no starter as well obviously. Especially if you have no venemous experience.

Sounds like this younger than 18 has a BIG want list of things that can kill him. :screwy: :screwy:
And to think I messed up a good pair of shorts when my ATB hit me :D :D :D
and get nervous when the big ones get up in my face
Guess I'm old and skeered ;) ;) ;)
Good luck AttackFish, hope we don't have to remember you as SnakeAttackedAndDead.
With those animals in your list, it's not whether or not you get hit, it's when.

BTW, got a great deal on the ATB. Traded him for $50.00 and a neonate ball/royal.
Only paid $40.00 for the ATB, so I had to do it. ;) ;)

I wont be going out of the blue to get these snakes, I am constantly reading and researching them everyday, joining more and more forums/messageboards and talking to variouse people who keep such animals. I am in the process of finding a keeper/breeder of venomous species so that I can see there facility, handling, etc. I'm not just jumping into hots all of the sudden. I know its a big deal! I know these animals can potentially kill me. Its the same thing with people who keep large constrictors such as burms/retics/rock pythons.

But they technically wont be my "first" hots, they will be my first hots kept in my home, and certainly not the first hots that I will have handled. I am glad to have advice given from respectable person(s) with a good ammount of knowledge.

I know what I'm getting into. ;)

Boelens Python. Hands down. They are pretty hard to come by even if you can afford them. Bushmaster occasionally has babies on kingsnake classifieds.
